I am a Specialist in Gastrointestinal diseases and Internal Medicine. I have previously worked at Akademiska Sjukhuset in Uppsala, Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset and Danderyds Sjukhus as a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. I most recently came from Sophiahemmet where I have focused on diagnosis and treatment of various gastrointestinal problems, everything from diffuse stomach pain / problems to complicated inflammatory bowel diseases. My work has included colonoscopy and gastroscopy, but I have also delved into small bowel copying and capsule camera enteroscopy.

Our diet and our intestinal bacteria have been scientifically proven to be important parts of a successful treatment and can also have a preventive effect against various intestinal diseases, including IBS. I believe that these two areas are important in the search for medically unsolved problems, therefore I also take alternative medicines, diet and intestinal flora into account when I make a medical assessment.
